Joyce Louise Ullman in Walnut Creek on Wednesday, November 2, 2005. A 15-year San Francisco resident, formerly of Orinda. Joyce was a 1984 graduate of Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, where she studied architecture. Following college, Joyce enjoyed a successful career as an architect specializing in high-end residential construction in the East Bay. During her high school years she enjoyed playing the clarinet. She was a member of Toastmasters of San Francisco, enjoyed swimming at USF, and also expressed her artistic talent sketching and designing toys at home. She was devoted to her family and friends. A native of Orinda, CA, aged 45 years. Beloved daughter of Norbert and Beverly Ullman of Orinda. Also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins. Preceded in death by her brother, Karl Ullman, in 1999, whom she missed dearly. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Santa Maria Church, 20 Santa Maria Way, Orinda, on Thursday, November 10, 2005, commencing at 11:00am.
