I did fulfill my high school ambition of going to medical school, and have been a practicing pediatrician in Ann Arbor, Michigan for 30 years. I got married to Steve Taylor in 1988, when we both graduated from med school. We have 2 wonderful daughters: Rachel is a newlywed and working on a PhD in Madison, Wisconsin, and Sarah is a recent college grad who is teaching English in Santiago, Chile. I recently cut back to working part-time so I can do more traveling. Still skiing (thank you, Miramonte ski club!) though a bad accident last March has slowed me down temporarily. |

| Comment: After living in the Bay Area for 50 years, I took the plunge and moved to Pawleys Island, South Carolina in October, 2016.I had a great nursing career with Kaiser Permanente for 34 years. I took early retirement when I was 54 and returned 9 months later as a “contracted RN” for almost a year and a half! I have a 24 year old struggling artist daughter who now lives in Brooklyn, NY. I’m divorced and loving my new free life in the South! I’m still obsessed with swimming and I now teach swimming and water aerobics at the local gym in Pawleys Island! I live 10 minuets from the beach and have lots of new friends here. I usually get back to the Bay Area twice a year to see my folks, nursing friends, and my beloved group of friends from the Walnut Creek Masters swim team. | |

After MHS, I attended and graduated from UC Berkeley. We raised our three boys and daughter in Piedmont. Husband Charlie and I moved to Oakland, CA in 2015. We have four grown adult kids, Charlie, Connor, Brendan and Elizabeth. Our son Brendan got married this April, 2023. Started Moving Angels after we became empty nesters in 2019. Moving Angels specializes in Senior and Specialty Move Management and Professional Productivity and Organizing; working all over the greater Bay Area. Love to garden, play tennis and pickleball, spend time with friends and family. |

Remaining the underachiever you all know and remember. I may have been one of the first in the Class of '78 to have children and almost certainly the last; my four children range from 33, to 31, and from 6 to 3 (yes, you read this correct). In a masterful move at frugality, I killed two birds with one stone...saving money on psychoanalysis by being happily married to a therapist. I was blessed to have passed through the gates of CAL; Stanford GSB (SEP); and, Cambridge University (Ph.D., Engineering). My professional background in investment banking; technology ventures in the Silicon Valley, policy development at the Kauffman Foundation combine to keep me busy in my quest to make my youngest son's final college tuition payment in 2038! We live just outside of NYC on the awesome Gold Coast of Sea Cliff. My brother, Mike, is married and lives in Florinopolis, Brasil. Go Mats! |

After high school, I attended DVC then CSULB where I received my BS in Physical Therapy. I have been a PT for 33 years and currently work in a hospital in Medford, OR. I have been happily married to my husband Wynn for 32 years and we have 2 grown daughters and twin granddaughters who are nearly 2 years old. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone at Saturday night's event. I can believe that it's been 40 years! |
